3.8 Broadcasting
Broadcasting by Pressing the [Broadcast(PTT Link)] Key
By assigning the Broadcast(PTT Link) function to any function key, you can activate the Broadcast function and start the
broadcast by a single [Broadcast(PTT Link)] key operation. Similarly, you can also end the broadcast by a single operation.

Press the [Broadcast(PTT Link)]
The Broadcast function will activate and a mode change tone will emit from the activated transceiver. Start the
broadcast after the mode change tone is emitted.

While pressing the
The broadcast continues while the [Broadcast(PTT Link)] key is pressed.

To end broadcast, release the
A mode change tone will emit and users will return to the "Group Call Mode" of their own groups.
Note
The broadcast will be canceled before the broadcast ends in the following cases.

When the time configured in Broadcast Timer has lapsed.

When the power of the transceiver that has started Broadcast is turned off, or when it is out of range.
