Safety information

Risk of electric shock
A hazardous voltage is present for up to 5 minutes after the power supply has been
disconnected.
Only after this time has expired may the protective cover be opened using a suitable tool.
The components must only be operated when the protective cover of the DC link is closed.
Damaged components must not be used further, Secondary damage or accidents can
otherwise result.
DC link discharge time
The hazard warning for the DC link discharge time must be attached to the component in
the local language.
A set of labels in 16 languages is supplied with the component.
With a connected braking resistor, the Braking Module is ground-fault proof.
The cooling clearances of 80 mm above and below the components must be observed.
CAUTION
The connection to the braking resistors must be made using a shielded cable.
The tightening torque of the DC-link busbar screws (1.8 Nm, tolerance +30 %) must be
checked before commissioning. After transportation, the screws must be tightened.
CAUTION
DC link side covers are supplied with the components as standard and must be attached to
the last component in the S120 Combi drive line-up. They can also be ordered separately, if
required (order no.: 6SL3162-5AA00-0AA0).
