CHAPTER 2 BASIC OPERATIONS
2.3.6 Removing the Waste Paper
Trimmer DC controller PCB
The waste paper from a trimmed booklet is discharged by the waste paper removal fan
motor (M108), an is dropped into the waste paper box. The box is equipped with a waste
paper box full LED (LED101) and a waste paper box full sensor (PS109); when it becomes
full, the fact will e indicated in the control panel.
M103 is driven by the trimmer driver PCB, and is controlled by the trimmer DC control-
ler PCB. The sensor associated with this operation is the waste paper box detection sensor
(PS107).
1. Operation
a. Waste Paper Removal Fan
M108 goes ON/OFF in conjunction with the activation/deactivation of M102 (trimmer
motor).
b. Waste Paper Box
When the waste paper box becomes full, the optical path between LED101 and PS109
mounted to the left and right of the box will be blocked, causing PS109 to go OFF and the
