SERVICE MODE
<4. Adjust>
Selects the factory setting for the trim width.
Selecting a Paper Size/Making Adjustments
Selects a paper size for factory setting/adjustments.
Trim Width Factory Adjustment Standard (As a rule, no adjustment in service mode is
needed.)
For each size (5 in total; LTRR, A4R, B4, A3, 11 × 17), paper will actually be moved in
trim mode; then, adjustments will be made with reference to A and B (F00-204-02) of a
stack of sheets (2 sheets of plain paper); i.e., so that the larger of the two will be in keep-
ing with the standard: {(paper dimension/2) - 3.5 mm } ± 0.5 mm.

The range of factory settings for trim width is as follows; a shift is in reference to + and
- of the above diagram:
