Alarm Settings

The video server is equipped with two types of alarm function for each of the four video input channels:
an external alarm sensor and a motion sensor. When an outside intruder is detected, these alarm
functions can be used to record the images immediately before the alarm occurred (pre-alarm
recording) and the alarm images themselves (post-alarm recording) into the video server's internal
memory or onto a memory card.
When an alarm is received, the ALARM indicator illuminates red on the live image screen, so that you
can check if an alarm is being received or not.

ALARM SET setting
This lets you make alarm settings for the video
images from the various connected devices.
Click on a button from [CH1] to [CH4] to display
the ALARM SET screen for that channel. You
can then make various settings such as
selecting external alarms and motion sensor
alarms.
2
ALARM REC USE setting
The default setting is "USE". If you select "NO
USE" from the drop-down list box, the other
settings will remain as they are but the alarm
recording function will be disabled.
Note:
Images recorded during an alarm will be recorded in
color, even if "GRAY" has been selected as the
IMAGE MODE setting.
Alarm recording will not be carried out when there is
no video signal present, even when an external
alarm is received. However, the output (such as a
buzzer) will still occur when an external alarm is
received.
