Open this cover to replace the waste toner
container.
b Drum
c Waste Toner Container
When the waste toner container becomes full,
replace it with a new one. (See "Replacing the
Waste Toner Container," on p. 5-22.)
d Toner Replacement Cover
Open this cover when replacing the toner
cartridge. (See "Replacing the Toner," on p. 5-17.)
e Toner Cartridge
When toner runs out, pull out the toner cartridge
and replace it with a new one.
(See "Consumables," on p. 5-41.)
f Scanning Area
Originals placed in the feeder are scanned here.
g Platen Glass
Place originals here when scanning books,
heavyweight originals, transparencies, etc.

Open this cover when clearing a paper jam inside
the main unit.
i 2 Way Unit-B1

The 2 Way Unit-B1 delivers the prints to the
additional output tray.
j Fixing Unit
If paper is jammed in the fixing unit, remove the
jammed paper carefully. (See "Fixing Unit," on
p. 6-29.)

Open this cover when clearing a paper jam in
