Driving
Cruise control
System which automatically maintains the
speed of the vehicle at the value programmed
by the driver, without any action on the
accelerator pedal.
The cruise control is switched on manually: it
requires a minimum vehicle speed of 25 mph
(40 km/h), as well as the engagement of:
-
fourth gear on a manual gearbox,
-
second gear on a or automatic or electronic
gearbox, in sequential mode,
-
position A on an electronic gearbox or
position D on an automatic gearbox.
The cruise control is switched off manually
or by pressing the brake or clutch pedal or on
triggering of the ESP system for safety reasons.
It is possible to exceed the programmed speed
temporarily by pressing the accelerator pedal.
To return to the programmed speed, simply
release the accelerator pedal.
Switching off the ignition cancels any
programmed speed value.

Questions and answers
I have a citroen c3 2010 and i open the care with remote from outside and i dont open the dor!!after 30 or 40 seconds he lock agein automatic!!how to fix this problem?thanx
To fix the automatic locking issue on a 2010 Citroën C3 when the door is not opened after using the remote, check the following:
1. Wiring Check – Inspect the wiring between the door and the door pillar for any damage.
2. Remote Key Test – Try using a spare remote key. If the issue occurs only with one key, the lock button on the faulty remote may be stuck.
3. Manual Unlock Test – Use the key in the door lock instead of the remote. If the car does not relock, the issue is likely with the remote key.
4. BSI Reset – Perform a BSI reset, as this can sometimes resolve locking issues.
5. Battery Check – Ensure the car battery and the key fob battery are fully charged.
6. Child Lock Inspection – If the child lock button is illuminated, check if it is affecting the central locking system.
7. Lock/Unlock Cycle – Try locking and unlocking the car manually using the key to reset the system.
If these steps do not resolve the problem, further diagnosis of the locking relays or the BSI may be required.
