All plumbing work should be carried
out by a suitably qualified and
competent person, in accordance
with all applicable local and national
regulations.
Disconnect the appliance from the
electrical power supply before
connecting the water line.
The water quality must conform to
country requirements for drinking
water.
All equipment and devices for
supplying water to the appliance
must comply with the current
regulations for your geographical
area.
The appliance must be connected to
a cold water line that
– is directly connected to the fresh
water mains in order to ensure good
water quality.
Avoid any water supply where the
water does not run for long periods
of time.
Standing water results in bad tasting
ice cubes.

The water pressure must be between
1.5 and 6 bar (22–87 psi).

– A separate shut-off valve must be
installed, so that the water supply
can be interrupted as needed. If
there is none, have a water valve
installed by a licensed plumber.
It must be easily accessible after the
appliance has been installed.
^ Use a 1/4" OD copper line to connect
the water supply to the solenoid valve
on the appliance. This is not
included with the appliance!
^ The shut-off valve must be installed
between the hose line and the main
water supply so the water supply can
be stopped if necessary.
Do not install the shut-off valve
behind the appliance!
