Fresh air from the room enters the
appliance through the active charcoal
filters, ensuring a fresh, dust-free,
odourless air supply. The active
charcoal filters should to be changed
approx. every 12 months.
When the Change active charcoal filter
indicator — lights up red, the active
charcoal filters in each of the wine
conditioning zones need to be
changed.
To change the active charcoal
filters
^ Turn the filter 90° clockwise or
anti-clockwise.
^ Remove the filter.
^ Insert a new filter with the handle in
the vertical position.
^ Turn the filter 90° clockwise or
anti-clockwise until it clicks into
position.
Replacement active charcoal filters
are available from Miele (see
"Accessories").

To confirm the filters have been
changed
^ Touch the settings sensor.
All symbols available for selection
appear in the display and the 0 symbol
flashes.
^ Touch the sensors for setting the
temperature (X or Y), repeatedly until
the — symbol flashes.
^ Touch the OK sensor to confirm the
selection.
The 1 flashes in the display (means:
Active charcoal filter is installed in the
appliance), the — indicator lights up.
^ Touch the sensors for setting the
temperature (X or Y), repeatedly until
the 2 symbol is displayed (means:
the counter has been re-set).
