Voice Tags
Before recording voice tags or using
voice dialling, you will need to be aware
of some essential facts:

Voice tags are not language dependent. They are dependent
on the speaker's voice.
p
Voice tags are sensitive to background noise. Record them
and make calls in a quiet environment.
p
When recording a voice tag or making a call by saying a
voice tag, make sure to speak clearly into the microphone.
p
Very short names are not accepted. Use long names and
avoid similar names for different numbers.

You must say the name exactly as you said it when you
recorded it. This may be difficult in, for example, a noisy
environment or during an emergency, so you should not rely
solely upon voice dialling in all circumstances.
Voice dialling
You can assign Voice tags to phone numbers and your car
phone will automatically try to dial the number when it
recognises the tag.
Recording a new voice tag
This option lets you record a New voice
number, and save it in the car phone's memory. You may save
up to 15 voice tags with the related numbers per user profile in
your car phone. A voice tag can be any spoken word (or words)
such as the name of a person.

To record a New voice tag, select the
standby display and scroll with
tags. Press to select this option.

Scroll with to the desired name in the phone book and
press to select it.

Scroll with to the desired phone number and press
to select it.

Follow the instructions shown on the display.
Voice tag list
You can use this option to check all of the voice tags saved in
your car phone memory and to edit the list using the options
above.

Play
This option will play back the voice tag as recorded.

Change
You can replace any voice tag by a new one. Select this
option and say the new voice tag.
p
Delete voice tag?
Select this option to erase a voice tag and make room in the
memory for a new voice tag.
