Do not disconnect the USB device during recording process.
You cannot record MP3/WMA files recorded on a CD-R/CD-RW.
USB recording does not function while the sleep timer is activated.

You can record the sound from an Audio CD, FM/AM radio broadcast, or an
external component to the USB device in MP3 format.
Preparation:
Connect a USB device (with sufficient free space) for recording to the
terminal. (P.30)

Recording all tracks of a CD

Press [CD £¥8 ] to select "CD" source, then press [ 7 ].

Press [USB REC] to start recording.
Playback and recording stop automatically when all tracks have been
recorded.

Recording a single track of a CD

Start or pause playback of the track you want to record.

Press [USB REC] to start recording.
Playback starts from the beginning of the selected track, and playback
and recording stop automatically when the selected track has been
recorded.

Recording desired tracks in desired order

Program the tracks and playback order for recording.
(Step 1 to 3, P. 21)

Press [USB REC] to start recording.
Playback and recording stops when all the programmed tracks have
been recorded.

Recording from TUNER, AUDIO IN, AUX source

Press [TUNER/BAND], [AUDIO IN], or [ AUX] to select the
desired source you want to record.

For "TUNER": Tune in to the station you want to record. (P.22)
For "AUDIO IN" and "AUX": Start playback of the
component you want to record.

Press [USB REC] to enter the recording standby mode.
The REC LED on the main unit flashes while recording standby mode.

Press [USB REC] to start recording.
To stop recording
Press [ 7 ].
