Removal
WARNING: Your FireAngel will not alert you to smoke when it has
been removed or disabled.
WARNING: 230V wires will be exposed when removing the
FireAngel. Ensure that all electrical power has been disconnected
before removing the FireAngel.
a) Push in tab on the
side of the FireAngel
indicated by the arrow
on the mounting plate
and simultaneously
rotate the FireAngel
anti-clockwise.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the connector by pulling on the wires.
This can damage the wire and may cause a fire or electrical safety
hazard.
Do not re-use the connector/cable assembly in a different location. If the
FireAngel is to be re-installed in a different location, use a new assembly (part
reference Z-099).
b) Pull the connector
clip to one side to
release the connector.
Then pull the
connector from the
FireAngel using the tab
provided.

c) Unscrew the
mounting plate from
the ceiling.
