Need help?
Do you have a question about the K40 Elite and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
I have just descaled my K-40. While running the cycles the large blue lite functioned properly, but the other two smaller blue lite would not lite up. When the lid is lifted to recycle the large lite comes on but not the others. Only the large lite will activate the water, the other two are not responsive. Any idea what is the matter?
If the smaller blue lights on a Keurig K40 Elite do not light up after descaling, possible issues include:
1. Incomplete Descaling – If the red Descale Light was illuminated, ensure the descaling process was completed correctly.
2. Repeated Descaling Still Fails – If the brewer only brews a partial cup after descaling twice, contact Customer Service.
3. Water Reservoir Issues – Ensure the Water Reservoir is properly seated and filled to the correct level.
4. Power Button Not On – Make sure the Power Button is turned on and the green Power Light is illuminated.
5. Handle Not Secured – Confirm the K-Cup® Pack Holder is securely closed, which allows the Brew Buttons to activate.
If the issue persists, contacting Keurig Customer Service is recommended.
