Using alternate subwoofer with a built-in
amplifier
The bass sound can be emphasized by connecting a commercially available sub-
woofer with a built-in amplifier.

Notes:
No sound is heard from the speaker in which an amplifier is not built in.
By changing the speaker settings, both speakers that are connected to the SUB-
WOOFER PRE OUT jack and SUBWOOFER terminals can be set simultaneously.

Before plugging in or unplugging the headphones, reduce the volume.
Be sure your headphones have a 1/8" (3.5 mm) diameter plug and are between 16
ohms and 50 ohms impedance. The recommended impedance is 32 ohms.
Plugging in the headphones disconnects the speakers automatically. Adjust the
volume using the VOLUME buttons.
You cannot use the surround feature with headphones.
