CONTRAST-CONTROL-SYNC FLASH

When 2 SEF-36PZF flash units are used in
combination with the camera's built-in flash, twin
flash photography is possible with the output ratio of
the light intensity controlled.
• An SEF-36PZF flash unit is attached on the
camera, the other is in wireless mode (SLAVE
1). Refer to p.34.

■ Procedure

Turn on the power switch.

Set the sync mode switch to the contrast control
position[ ].

Set the wireless mode as SLAVE 1. (p.42)

Adjust the zoom position according to the lens
in use.
• If the SEF-36PZF is much closer to the subject
than the camera's built-in flash, use the
[M.Zoom] mode to set the zoom position to a
shorter lens focal length. Otherwise, the flash
coverage may be insufficient causing a dark
periphery in the picture.

Confirm the Ready lamp lights up and then
discharge the flash.
