EARCHING THE
You can use your soft key menu to locate people in your
facility by searching for them by name or number.
To search for a user by name, follow these steps:

From the main menu display, press <SEARCH>. Your
LCD updates to allow you to choose whether to
search by NAME or NUMBER.

Press <NAME>. You see this display:

To search by name (for example, for Deborah
Sullivan), begin entering keypad numbers
corresponding to letters. Two seconds after you enter
a letter, the cursor advances to the next position.You
can enter only one or up to three letters to search on.

To display the letter S, press the number 7 on your
keypad three times. Pressing this key three times
indicates that you want to enter the third character on
the number 7 keypad. If you make an error, press the
left arrow key to edit the previous letter. Any letters to
the right are cleared.
