A large number of Hyundai ix35 vehicles made between November 2011 and June 2012 were affected by a seatbelt pre-tensioner fault, leading to a recall. You can replace the pre-tensioner yourself, but it is difficult due to its placement. A Hyundai dealer can check and repair this issue for you.
