DriveControl
Located onthe underside ofthe upperhandle,the drivecontrol i susedto engage/
disengage w heels.Squeeze t he drivecontrolagainst t he upperhandleto engage
the wheels; r elease to disengage.
AugerControl
Theaugercontrolisonthe front the upperhandle.Squeeze t he augercontrol
against t he upperhandleto engage the auger;release to disengage the auger.
Nevermakeadjustmentsto thechute assemblyunlessboth auger anddrive
controls aredisengagedandthe operatorisstanding besidethe unit.

ChuteHandle
Thedirectionofsnowthrowingcorresponds t o the directionof thechuteopening.
Use the chutehandleto turn thechuteassembly inthe directionyouwish tothrow
the snow.
ChuteEnob
Thedistance snowisthrowncanbeadjustedbyeither raisingor loweringthe upper
chute.Loosen the chuteknobon the sideof the upperchuteto adjust.Pivot t he
upperchuteto desiredposition, a ndretightenthe chuteknob.Raising t he chute
throwsthesnowfurther.
ShavePlate
Theshave platemaintains contactwith pavement asthe snowthrowerispropelled,
allowingsnowclose to pavement's s urface to be discharged.
Skid Shoe
Thespace betweenthe shave plateandthe groundcanbe adjusted. F orclose snow
removal, p laceskidshoes inthe highestposition.Usemiddleor lowestposition
whenareato becleared isuneven or on gravelsurfaces.
