Setting the Color Temperature
You can numerically set the white balance's color temperature.
Press the <FUN(::,> button. (66)
®_ Press the
<FUNC>
button once or
twice to display the white balance on
the rear LCD panel's upper dght.

_ Turn the <Q> dial to select <Q>.
Set the desired value.
_ Turn the <_:_> dial to set the color
temperature.
_ You can set it within 2500K to 10000K
in 100K increments.

_JVhensetting the color temperature for an artificial light source, set whke
3a_ance correction (magenta or green) as necessary
if you want to set <_ > to the reading taken with a commercially-
available color temperature meter, taKe test snots and adjust the setting
ro compensate for the difference between the color temperature meter's
reading and the camera's co_or temperature reading.
You can also use the [2' White batance] menu to set the white balance.
