Installing and Removing the Memory Card _
The camera can use a CF card and SD card. Images can be recorded
with at least one memory card installed in the camera.
If both card slots have a card, you can select which card to record
images with or record the same images simultaneously on both cards.

if you use an SD card, be sure the write protect switch is set
upward to enabJe wdting/erasing°
Installing a Card
_ pen the cover.
® Flip out and turn the cover release
handle as shown by the arrow.
_D Insert the memory card.
® The left slot is for the CF card, and
the dght slot is for the SD card.
® With the OF card, face the JabeJ
side toward you as shown in the
ilJustration and insert the end with
the small hoJes into the camera.
if the CF card is insetted in the
wrong way, it may damage the
camera.
l_ The CF card eject button will stick out.
® With the SD card's label facing you,
push in the card until it clicks in place.
_ Close the cover.
® Press the cover until it snaps shut.
® Ultra DMA (UDMA) CF cards enable faster data writing.
