Clearing a Jam at the Duplex Unit

Follow these steps if the operator panel displays the
message:
PAPER JAM DUPLEX
1. Carefully remove the jammed paper from the paper
exit (A). If it cannot be removed easily, go to Step 2.
2. Press the release button to open the rear cover (B).
Caution!
Do not push down or place heavy objects
on the opened rear cover.
3. Remove the jammed paper (C).
4. Close the rear cover.
