EXTERNAL MOUSE

The NEC Docking Station 6000 lets you attach an external mouse. When a
mouse is connected, the NEC Versa mouse, trackball, or NEC VersaGlide is
disabled.
Follow these steps to connect a PS/2-style mouse to the docking station.

Be sure power is off. Connecting an external mouse while the power
is on can damage the computer.

EXTERNAL AUDIO OPTIONS

The docking station provides various audio ports on the back of the unit for
connecting audio devices such as headphones, microphones, and external
speakers. When you plug in these audio attachments, they use the sound ca-
pabilities in the docking station.
5-6 Connecting Peripheral Devices
Make sure NEC Versa power and docking station power are off.
Locate the mouse port on the back of the docking station.
Insert the mouse cable connector in the port.
Turn on power to the NEC Versa and docking station.
