MULTI-MODE A.S.E.S. (Auto Synchro Editing System)
[With the CT-Z570WR]
You can select between the following three recording modes for use
with A.S.E.S.
RELAY (Relay A.S.E.S.):
* Deck | first edits and records Disc 1, and when that has been
completed, deck Il edits and records Disc 2. (Even if you use a PD-
Z970M, A.S.E.S recording is not possible with Discs 3 to 6).
NOTE:
¢ FINE edit with Relay A.S.E.S. is not possible.
¢ Programmed playback with Relay A.S.E.S. is not possible.
PARA (Parallel A.S.E.S.):
® Deck | and deck II edit and record the DISC 1 and DISC 2 respectively,
at the same time.
TAPE fl (Deck Il A.S.E.S.):
© Deck II records with A.S.E.S.
Repeat A.S.E.S.
If you switch the CD player to the all tracks repeat mode, and record
with NORM, FADE, or DISCO A.S.E.S., tracks can be recorded without
wasting any space on the tape.
NOTE:
© With the CT-Z570WA&, repeat A.S.E.S. is possible in the PARA and
TAPE I! recording modes, but not in the RELAY mode.
How to operate |
Operate with A.S.E.S. on deck | and deck II in the stop mode.
[NORM, FADE, DISCO]
1. Put disc(s) in the CD player.
e With the PD-Z970M, be sure to load a disc into DISC 1 or DISC
2 of the disc magazine.
¢ When you want to use A.S.E.S. to change the order of tracks,
program the CD player.
2. Put a tape to be recorded in deck H.
3. [CT-Z570WR only]
Select the recording mode with the ASES MODE button.
Each time you press it, the indication in the display section changes
in the following order.
ht TAPE Il
Select your desired mode. If you select PARA or RELAY, also load
deck | with a tape to record to.
4. Select REV MODE switch and DOLBY NR switch on the cassette
deck.
== _: When recording on one side of the tape only.
=> orc: When recording on both sides of the tape.
5. Sound quality adjustment
¢ Adjust with the sound field processor.
6. Press the desired ASES button [NORM (FINE), FADE, DISCO] on
the cassette tape deck.

Les trois modes d'enregistrement suivants peuvent étre sélectionnés
pour une utilisation avec la fonction A.S.E.S.
RELAY (A.S.E.S. Relais):
¢ La platine | tout d'abord édite et enregistre le Disque 1 et lorsque cela
est terminé, la Platine Il édite et'enregistre le Disque 2. (Méme si un
lecteur PD-Z970M est utilisé, un enregistrement A.S.E.S. n'est pas
possible avec les Disques 3 a 6).
REMARQUE:
¢ L'édition FINE avec I'A.S.E.S. relais n'est pas possible.
© La lecture programmée avec !'A.S.E.S. relais n'est pas possible.
PARA (A.S.E.S. Paralléle):
¢ La Platine | et Platine Il éditent et enregistrent, en méme temps,
respectivement le Disque | et le Disque 2.
TAPE II {A.S.E.S. Platine Il):
¢ La Platine Il enregistre avec I'A.S.E.S.
A.S.E.S. Répétition
Sile fecteur de disque compact est réglé dans le mode de répétition de
toutes les pistes et que l'enregistrement est effectué avec I'A.S.E.S.
NORM, FADE ou DISCO, les pistes peuvent étre enregistrées sans
gaspiller de place sur la bande.
REMARQUE:
Avec le CT-Z570WA, I'A.S.E.S. répétition est possible dans les modes
d'enregistrement PARA et TAPE Il, mais non dans le mode RELAY.
Utiliser la fonction A.S.E.S. avec ta Platine | et la Platine li dans le mode
d'arrét.
[NORM, FADE, DISCO]
1. Charger un (des) disque(s) dans le lecteur de disque compact.
© Avec le PD-Z970M, toujours charger un disque dans DISC 1 ou
DISC 2 du magasin de disques.
¢ Pour utiliser I'A.S.E.S. afin de changer l'ordre des pistes,
programmer le lecteur de disque compact.
2. Charger la bande a enregistrer dans la Platine Il.
3. [CT-Z570WR seulement]
Sélectionner le mode d'enregistrement avec la touche ASES MODE.
Chaque fois que cette touche est enfoncée, les indications de la
section d'affichage changent dans |'ordre suivant.
i TAPE Il > RELAY |
Sélectionner le mode désiré. Si le mode PARA ou RELAY est
sélectionné, charger également la platine | avec une bande pour
V'enregistrement.
4. Régler le commutateur REV MODE et le commutateur DOLBY NR
de la platine 'cassette stéréo.
=: Lors de I'enregistrement sur une seule face de la bande.
= ou): Lors de l'enregistrement sur les deux faces de la
bande.
5. Réglage de la qualité sonore.
e Ajuster avec le processeur de champ acoustique.
6. Appuyer sur la touche ASES désirée [NORM (FINE), FADE, DISCO]
de la platine cassette stéréo.
