HANDLING
® Do not apply shocks or vibrations. Malfunctioning of the unit is likely to result.
® Do not place the unit near appliances generating strong electric or magnetic fields.
Noisy or unstable pictures are likely to result.
@ Do not use it in extremely hot places. Exposed to the direct sunlight for a long period
of time or placed near a heater, the cabinet could become deformed, or the perform-
ance of the internal components may deteriorate. Special attention is required in
summer. Inside a closed car the temperature can climb to as high as 80°C in the
summer sun.
@ Keep the monitor clean by wiping the cabinet and the CRT screen with a piece of soft
cloth. Do not apply thinner or benzine. These chemicals can damage the surface finish
and cause printed letters to be erased. Clean excessive soiling with a diluted neutral
cleanser, then wipe away the cleanser with a dry cloth.
® Do not block the ventilation slots,
For outdoor usage
Apply a screen hood (provided) outdoors to eliminate
reflections,
For installing the hood, insert the two small tabs on
the rear of the hood into the slots on both sides of -
the screen. This easily fastens the hood securely, but
not permanently. The hood can be easily fastened or
removed by inserting its tabs or by pulling it forward.
The monitor can be inclined by erecting the stands on
the botton.
USING THE eee OPTIONAL BATTERY
PACK NB-P1
Lighting of the BATT ALARM indicator, while employing the optional built-in battery
pack NB-P1, warns of insufficient battery power. Immediately recharge the battery pack
or replace it with a fully charged one.
