PROGRAMMED EDITING USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

Connect all the units as illustrated below.
Turn all units on. (Set the camcorder POWER switch to
"PLAYER" )
Playback the tape in the camcorder. When the tape
has reached the beginning of the desired segment,
point A1, press the MEMO button.

reading, for the recording start position, is
memorized.

Press the MEMO button again at the end of the
sired segment, point A2.

3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 for segments C and B in that

the STOP button to stop the tape in the camcorder.

Notes:
@ if you need to fast-forward the tape or use the scene
search function to locate the beginning or the end of
a segment, make sure to go back to normal
playback before pressing the MEMO button.
@ The segments should be at least 5 seconds long for
the programmed editing to function correctly.
@ While setting a programmed editing, the counter
cannot be reset.
@ The programmed editing function uses the counter
readings to locate the start and end of the segments.
In some cases, the start and end positions may not
match the exact programmed Positions.
