CAMCORDER OPERATION
The linear time counter indicates the tape run time in
hours, minutes and seconds.
E Using the memory function

the POWER switch to "PLAYER",
° Press the COUNTER RESET button.
Press the COUNTER RESET button to reset the
counter to "0:00:00". If you reset the counter at the
B beginning of the tape, you can determine the
recording duration.

3 Press the COUNTER MEMO button.
Press the COUNTER MEMO button and "M" is
displayed. When "M" is displayed, the "0:00:00"
point is memorized (not the point where the
COUNTER MEMO button was pressed). Press the
COUNTER MEMO button again to erase the "M" and
_ cancel
the memory function. _
[4 Press the REW button.
The tape will be rewound and will automatically stop
at the counter reading "0:00:00".

@ When pressing the REW button, the tape might not
stop at the exact "0:00:00" location.
@ If the tape is rewound past "0:00:00", the counter
reading will indicate a negative "—" value.

Transition recording
if at the end of a recording, some unwanted pictures and
sound have been recorded, they can be eliminated by
replacing them with newly recorded pictures and sound.
Example: To replace unwanted pictures (A) by new
pictures (B).
