USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
The lithium battery has been instalied in the remote
control supplied with your camcorder (before using
the remote control, pull-out the battery protector
sheet).
The remote control can be used within a range of 4 m (13
ft) from the front of the sensor window on the camcorder,
If the range seems to decrease or the remote control does
not function, replace the remote control lithium battery.

1 Press € on the remote control sensor to expose it.
The remote control sensor on the camcorder can
then be turned to face any direction. Press it again to
conceal it when not using the remote control.
Note: Remote control operation is not possible if.
@ a strong light or sunlight is directed at the remote
control sensor,
@ there is an obstacle between the remote control unit
and the camcorder,
@ it is operated from the cassette holder side of the
camcorder.
