Linear 16 Data Format
The linear data format consists of two parts, with a 16-bit binary unsigned mantissa and a 5-bit
binary signed exponent (two's complement), as shown in the following figure.

The output voltage is calculated as follows:

Voltage is the output voltage value.
V is the 16-bit unsigned integer.
N is the 5-bit signed integer (two's complement). N = –12
