Additionally, the instrument cleaning procedure can be manually initiated without shutting down the instrument by clicking
the toolbar.
Perform the cleaning procedure as follows:
1. If desired, select "Run UV cleaning operation before closing?".
2. Replace lids on any tip racks containing unused tips. Discard racks containing only used tips.

7. If using plates from dedicated QIAcube HT kits, leave the channeling adapter in position until the waste chamber has been flushed.
If using Capture Plate VX or Capture Plate DX, remove the silicone mat from the waste sink/mat support and discard. Leave
the waste sink/mat support in position until the waste chamber has been flushed.
8. Flush the vacuum chamber by pouring 20 mL water in the left (waste) side and clicking Next in the instrument cleaning
procedure to cycle the pump and flush the lines.
Note: The "Instrument cleaning procedure" window must be open before the water is poured into the sink.

wash water from flowing into the elution chamber and draining out through the air bleed hole onto the laboratory bench.

page 156.
For information about cleaning air bleed holes, see page 156.
