5. Remove two damper assemblies and lid hinge
from lid assembly.

1. Remove backsplash assembly (see
Backsplash Removal under Control Panel
Housing / Backsplash Assembly) and
remove the main board (see Main Board
Housing Removal under Main Board) both
found in the Cabinet and Structure section
of this service guide).
2. Remove the lid assembly (see Lid Assembly
Removal under Lid Assembly in the
Capacitor (For 600/605 Models Only)
section of this service guide).
3. Remove two hex-head ground screws.

4. Slide the harness grommet out toward the
rear of the washer. Disengage the power
cord from the top cover by lifting the front part
of the cord and then slide forward to remove.
5. Remove two hex-head screws holding top
cover to cabinet assembly.
6. Raise the rear of the top cover up and pull
forward slightly to disengage the front clips
using putty-knife.
