OPERATIONS
@ For automatic play (auto-in, auto-return)

When
play is completed,
the
tonearm (4) automatically re-
turns to the arm rest(13)and the

Depress the POWER switch@)

you are not playing a

Always switch the power off
when you do not intend to use

. Precautions with auto-play
(1) Unfasten the rest hook and depress the
START/CUT switch.
(2) Auto-play is not possible with 25 cm disks
and so play them manually.
(3) Unless playing 30 cm disks at 33-1/3 rom
or 17 cm disks at 45 rpm, set the SPEED
select switch @ to the figure correspon-
ding to the rated speed of the disk before
depressing the START/CUT switch.
Lower the dust cover gently.

. Do not touch the tonearm(4 or selector while
the tonearm @4 is moving.
. The mechanism
for auto-in, auto-return, and
auto-repeat operates correctly when
playing
an IEC standard disk. But if a non-standard
disk is set to automatic play, the stylus tip
may be damaged because the stylus descends
outside the lead-in groove,
or the tonearm
may not return automatically to the rest. Play
non-standard disks manually.
