5.4.1 Installing a Common Dehydrating Breather

Step 1 Remove the flange cover from the position to install the dehydrating breather.
Step 2 Secure the dehydrating breather.
There is a sealing washer between the flange cover and dehydrating breather. When tightening
the bolt, ensure that the sealing washer is 1/4 compressed in height.

Step 3 Remove the end cover from the dehydrating breather.
Step 4 Add transformer oil to the cover of the dehydrating breather and reinstall the cover.
