DDC
DDC (Display Data Channel) is a standard created by VESA. It defines how to read certain
pins in a display to query the monitor's capabilities. Touch panel color LCD supports
DDC-2B. Upon startup, the computer (in a Windows environment) reads the setup data
already written within the elements of this monitor and sets the computer's system file
accordingly for the Plug & Play function. Since the computer reads the monitor data
through the video cable, it needs to be plugged while your computer is running.
Power save function
The monitor enters the power save mode after idling for a certain period of time to
reduce power consumption. Refer to the computer instruction manual on how to set it.
Digital input
In DVI mode, it is normal for noise to occur during startup, shutdown, and/or at switching
resolutions. This is caused by the graphics card in the system as it switches resolution.
It is not a failure.
Make sure to turn off the system when connecting and disconnecting the DVI cable. It
could damage the graphics card.
Mouse
Using a 3 button mouse may cause improper working of the touch panel. Connect a PS/2
mouse (2 button mouse) and set "PS/2 mouse" for mouse setting.
