5.2. Control box user interface

1. Normal mode (indicator color- green): When illuminated, it means the system is functioning normally.
2. Emergency mode (indicator color- red): If illuminated, it means the system is in error mode. Please
contact a dealer, contractor or technician with certifications required by laws and codes.
All other indicators and buttons on the control box user interface are installer-only settings. For more
information, refer to the PAA unit installation manual.

5.3. Operation mode

Available modes: Cool/Dry/Fan/Heat
To select the operation mode, refer to the operation manual for the remote controller you are using.
NOTE
For cooling-only outdoor units: Heat mode always uses the furnace, instead of the heat
pump, to provide heat.
