his section explains all of the 941/951/952's WAAS features,
which are used in conjunction with Northstar's 2201 binary
WAAS pod, including:
WAAS and AUTO options for differential operations
•
• Remote power-on of the 2201
WAAS or W designator on several screens
•
Hexagonal WAAS satellite indicators on the GPS SATS
•
screen.
NOTE:
For external WAAS capability, the 941/951/952
must be operating with software version 3.18 or
higher. Dealers should contact the Northstar Sales
Department to obtain an Upgrade CD and a PC
loader cable, if necessary (Northstar part number
1100-LC). End users should contact their local
Northstar dealer for upgrading.
