Using a standard mast

There are two ways to mount the 2201:
using a mast mount
onto a flat surface mount
NOTE:
Using the 1"x 14 industry-standard UNS thread mounting,
install the base of the 2201 onto a standard antenna mast.

Do not overtighten or you may damage the housing!
Use a tie-wrap or equivalent near the 2201 to hold the weight
of the cable so the connector isn't stressed by the cable's
weight.
INSTALLATION SUMMARY
DO . . .
Plan the installation carefully, following the guidelines
above
Mount the 2201 low, but away from objects that may
obstruct satellite signals
Coil any extra 2201-CA cable away from the 2201
DON'T . . .
Block the 2201's view of any part of the sky
Run the data cable near radio transmitters, transmitter
antenna cables, or other antennas
Pinch the data cable or make sharp bends
Run cables where they may interfere with any controls
For certain installations, an optional magnetic
mount adapter is available (Northstar part number
AM110).
