Adding Main Memory to the GR2000-1B or GR2000-2B

Regarding the GR2000-1B and GR2000-2B only, when you increase memory size
from 128 MB to 256 MB, you must replace memory modules (DIMMs). This operation
is unnecessary for the GR2000-2B+, since it is shipped from the factory with the
maximum allowable 256 MB).

Note: Two DIMMs (256 MB) are pre-installed in the GR2000-2B+ as its standard

complement. You cannot increase the amount of memory in the GR2000-2B+.
Step 1.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two Phillips-head screws on the
rear panel of the router that hold the cover as shown in Figure 5-15 below.

Set the power switch to 0 (OFF) and pull out the power cable before
removing the cover from the GR2000-B. Even if you switch off the power,
you can still be shocked if the power cable is connected to the chassis.
MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE POWER CABLE!
Removing the cover from the unit should be done by trained maintenance
personnel only.
