Installation
1. Park machine on a level surface, shut engine off and
lower cutting units to the floor.
Steps 2 through 10 are for models 30410, 30411,
30412 and 30413.
2. Remove the knobs securing the control panel
housing to the control panel compartment (Figure 1).
Remove the housing.
3. Remove the plug from the switch mounting hole in
the control panel (Figure 1).

4. Press the switch into the control panel mounting
hole. Position the switch so the green lens is forward,
as shown in Figure 2.
5. Locate the wire harness under the control panel.
Plug the wire harness connector, labeled cruise, into
the switch.
6. Mount a new relay to the inside of the control panel
compartment (Figure 2) with a 1/4 x 7/8 inch
capscrew and locknut. The kit is supplied with two
relays, use the relay that matches the connector on
the harness described in the next step. Discard the
remaining relay.

7. Locate the bundled wire harness (labeled cruise)
under the control panel. Plug the single wire harness
connector into the relay.
8. Re-install the control panel housing to the control
panel compartment and secure it with knobs.
9. Disconnect the upper hydraulic hose from the front,
right, deck lift cylinder.
10. Under the floor plate and above the right lift arm,
locate the two connectors on the wire harness. Plug
a diode into each connector (Figure 2). Wire ties may
have to be removed to access the harness. Proceed
to step 20.

Steps 11 through 19 are for models 30446, 30447,
30448 and 30449
11. Remove the (2) screws securing the plate to the right
cover of the control arm (Figure 3).
