Procedure
1. Place the I/O board on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Align the screw holes on the I/O board with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
3. Replace the two screws (M2x3.5) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Connect the power and volume-buttons board-cable and coin-cell battery-cable to the I/O board.
5. Connect the I/O-board cable to the I/O board.
6. Adhere the tape that secures the power and volume-buttons board-cable to the palm-rest assembly.
7. Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the I/O board.
Post-requisites
1. Replace the
wireless
card.
2. Replace the battery.
3. Replace the
base
cover.
