SEL-411L Relay
Bit Description
87L phase element, unrestrained (high-set) overcurrent element operated in the A-phase,
B-phase, C-phase (with in-line transformer, only)
87L phase element, unrestrained (high-set) overcurrent element operated in any phase
(with in-line transformer, only)
Disturbance detected (local and remote)
87L phase element, A-phase, B-phase, C-phase overcurrent supervision picked up
87L negative-sequence element, overcurrent supervision picked up
87L zero-sequence element, overcurrent supervision picked up
External fault detected at the local terminal
External fault detected by one of the remote terminals
External fault detected in a vicinity of the protected line
Disturbance detected in local 87L currents or LINEV voltages
Disturbance detected in remote currents
Charging current compensation applied to local terminal currents using the local voltage
(87CCC must = 87CCB + 1)
Best possible charging current compensation (87CCB must = 87CCD + 1)
Charging current compensation degraded (87CCD must = 87CCU + 1)
Charging current compensation (87CCU, CCD, CCB and CCC must all be in the same
LongWord)
Terminal W included in 87L element
Terminal X included in 87L element
The 87L function is in the master mode; the differential current is calculated.
The 87L function is in the outstation mode; the differential current is not calculated, but
the 87L function is operational owing to the 87 DTT.
The 87L function is not available (is lost). The relay is not in the master mode and will not
trip via 87 DTT because the DTT is disabled, or none of the connected relays is in the
master mode.
Communication on Channel 1–3 is OK
The 87L system synchronized with high precision
Synchronization of the 87L system potentially degraded
Hot stand-by channel switch (if deasserted the 87PCH used; if asserted, the other channel
is used)
Maximum channel delay alarm for Channel 1–3
Step change in the round trip alarm for Channel 1–3
87L function in a test mode
