Chat features

Chat features offers rich messaging experiences for your Message app with
the following upgrades:
• Let others know when you are typing
• Provide read receipts that let others know you have read their messages
• Send messages through Wi-Fi or mobile data
Use the toggle switch
Chat features, the other features, such as Send read receipts and Show
typing indicators will be enabled as well.
Use the toggle switch
(SMS/MMS). If enabled, a message will be switched from chat if it cannot be
sent.
Tap Auto-download files you receive over mobile data to set data limit of
the automatically downloaded media files over the mobile data. The default is
100MB, which is also the maximum data limit.
Notes:
1. When you use Chat features for the first time, you may have to verify
your number to start using this feature.
2. When you enable Chat features for the first time, you may have to agree
with the Terms of Services and Privacy Policy by Google.
