The slot number for each option component (BCU number, PSU number and NIF number) of GS4000-80E1
is shown in the figure below.

NOTE The standard and high port-density NIFs, are installed into a packet switching unit (PSU). The
high port-density PSU-integrated NIF is installed into the slot for the packet switching unit.
For details, see the manual "GS4000 Hardware Installation Guide"
NOTE For the high port-density NIF and the high port-density PSU-integrated NIF, the NIF number
given to them by the system when they are installed are those indicated with "＊" in the figure
above.
