Connection to the
cold water supply
only
Use of non-return
valves
Water pressure (flow pressure) of a minimum of 14.5 psi (100 kPa)/
maximum of 145 psi (1,000 kPa) is required to guarantee problem-
free program operation.
The machine must be connected to the water supply using the inlet
hoses provided.
Before attaching the inlet hoses to the machine, the filters and seals
included in the accessory pack must be inserted.
Hoses must be replaced with hoses tested for a burst pressure of at
least 1,015 psi (7,000 kPa) overpressure and for water temperatures
of a minimum of 195°F (90°C). This also applies to the associated
connection fittings. Miele original parts meet these requirements.
The hot water supply must not exceed a maximum temperature of
160°F (70°C).
- See the installation plan provided.
In Germany, the machine must be connected to the water supply us-
ing the non-return valve provided.
According to national regulations for drinking water quality, with ef-
fect from March 21, 2021, a non-return valve to prevent backsiphon-
ing must be installed between the faucet and the water inlet hose
during commissioning on all machines in Germany. The non-return
valve prevents water from the water inlet hose from flowing back into
the on-site drinking water supply.
