The engine loses power.
The engine load is excessive.
The air cleaner is dirty.
The oil level in the crankcase is low.
The cooling fins and air passages under the
engine blower housing are plugged.
A spark plug is pitted, fouled, or the gap is
incorrect.
The vent hole in the fuel cap is plugged.
Dirt is in the fuel filter.
Dirt, water, or stale fuel is in the fuel system. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
The engine does not start, starts hard, or fails to keep
running.
The fuel tank is empty or the shutoff valve is
closed.
A spark-plug wire is loose or disconnected.
