Tips provides you with an abundance of information so you can quickly familiarize yourself
with your phone and make the best use of it. In Tips, you can also find a full set of user
guides for more detailed instructions.
Introduction to Tips sections:
Vividly depicted cards: Browse through the easy-to-read cards that contain a short clip or

image to quickly get to grips with all the most useful features on your phone. The cards are
categorized so you can jump directly to a category you are interested in.
More tips: Find detailed instructions in the comprehensive user guides.

Me: Configure the related settings. For example, check for updates of the Tips app.

Main functions provided by Tips:
Search: Find what you are looking for by searching for it in the search bar of Tips. The

search results will also include related topics you may want to know about.
Like and dislike: Rate the cards and give your feedback.

Try out features: A Try now button is available in certain cards for you to try out the

feature immediately.
The feature availability varies by device.

App Basics
Locate an Installed App
Swipe down from the middle of the home screen to show the search bar, and enter the app
name. When the app is found, touch
Uninstall an App
You can uninstall an app using any of the following methods:
When using the Standard style home screen, touch and hold the app icon on the home

screen, then touch Uninstall and follow the instructions.
When using the Drawer style home screen, touch and hold the app icon in the drawer, then

touch Uninstall and follow the instructions.
Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, touch the app, then touch Uninstall.

Some pre-installed system apps can't be uninstalled, as uninstalling them may cause
system errors.
