Tilt Steering Pedal
To tilt the steering wheel toward you, press the foot pedal
down, pull the steering tower toward you to the most
comfortable position, and release the pedal

Throttle Lever
The throttle lever

increases the engine speed. Moving it rearward toward the

position decreases the engine speed. The throttle

controls the speed of the blades and, with the traction pedal,
controls the ground speed of the machine. Always run the
machine with the throttle in the F
grass.
Power-Takeoff (PTO) Switch
The power-takeoff (PTO) switch starts and stops the mower
blades

of the engine coolant is high

Important: If the attachment shuts down and the
temperature-warning light is on, push the PTO knob
down, drive the machine to a safe, flat area, move the

Charge Indicator
The charge indicator illuminates when the charging-system
circuit malfunctions
Oil-Pressure-Warning Light
The oil-pressure-warning light
pressure in engine drops below a safe level. If low oil pressure
ever occurs, shut off the engine and determine the cause.
Repair the damage before starting the engine again.
Fuel Gauge
The fuel gauge
