Parking Brake
The parking brake is a large lever to the right of the seat.
(Fig. 13). Engage the parking brake whenever you plan on
leaving the seat to prevent accidental movement of the
sprayer. To engage the parking brake, pull up and back on
the lever. To disengage, push it forward and down. If the
sprayer is parked on a steep grade, apply the parking brake
and place blocks at the downhill side of the wheels.

Speed Limiter
The speed limiter is a large knob located to the right of the
seat (Fig. 14). It allows you to set the maximum downward
travel of the accelerator pedal, there-by limiting the
maximum speed of the sprayer.
Note: The vehicle controls the application rate based on
your speed and you do not need to keep a constant speed to
apply at a constant rate.

2. Press the button on top of the speed limiter knob and
pull up on it until you feel it touch the accelerator pedal,
then release the button (Fig. 14).
3. To fine tune the setting, turn the knob in or out as
needed.
4. Once you have it set, you can lock it at that setting by
turning the locking ring at the base of the speed limiter
clockwise until it stops (Fig. 14). To release this lock,
turn the locking ring counter clockwise until it is loose.
5. To release the speed limiter, press the button on the
knob and lower it as far as possible.
Choke Control
The choke control is a small knob to the right of the seat.
(Fig. 14). To start a cold engine, pull the choke control up.
After the engine starts, regulate the choke to keep the
engine running smoothly. As soon as possible, push the
control down to the Off position. A warm engine requires
little or no choking.
Range Selector
The range selector, located to the left of the seat, has 5
positions: 3 forward speeds, Neutral, and Reverse (Fig. 15).
The engine will start only when the range selector is in the
Neutral position. You must also fully press the brake with
the sprayer stopped to change gears.
Important
Do not shift out of or change gears while the
vehicle is moving. It could damage the transmission.
