FINAL DRIVE
FRONT GEARCASE REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle.
Serious injury may result if machine tips or falls. Be
sure machine is secure before beginning this service
procedure. Wear eye protection when removing
bearings and seals.
2. Place gear selector in neutral.
NOTICE
Vehicles equipped with a winch will require winch
removal prior to front gearcase removal. If the vehicle
does not have a winch, skip to step 10.
3. Disconnect battery.
4. Remove four fasteners
plate.
5. Disconnect electrical wires from bus bar.
6. Disconnect contactor connector.
7. Remove the lower fastener on the passenger front
shock.

8. Remove Winch from passenger side.
9. Remove winch mounting plate from frame by
removing four 15mm nuts
10. Remove both front drive shafts from the front
gearcase. Refer to "Front Drive Shaft Removal"
page
procedure.
11. Remove Skid plate.
12. Remove two 15mm fasteners
bearing.
