11. Remove the charge hose from the serv ce port.
12. Us ng hexagonal wrench, fully open both the h gh pressure and low pressure valves.
13. T ghten valve caps on all three valves (serv ce port, h gh pressure, low pressure) by hand. You may
t ghten t further us ng a torque wrench f needed.
Open valve stems gently

When open ng valve stems, turn the hexagonal wrench unt l t h ts aga nst the stopper.
Do not try to force the valve to open further.
Note on add ng refr gerant

Some systems requ re add t onal charg ng depend ng on p pe lengths. The standard
p pe length var es accord ng to local regulat ons. For example, n North Amer ca, the
standard p pe length s 7.5m (25'). In other areas, the standard p pe length s 5m (16').
The add t onal refr gerant to be charged can be calculated us ng the follow ng formula:
