7.1 Note on p pe length

The length of refr gerant p p ng w ll affect the performance and energy eff c ency of the un t. Nom nal
eff c ency s tested on un ts w th a p pe length of 5 meters (16.5ft).
Refer to the table below for spec f cat ons on the max mum length and drop he ght of p p ng.

7.2 Connect on nstruct ons – refr gerant p p ng
Step 1: Cut p pes
When prepar ng refr gerant p pes, take extra care to cut and flare them properly. Th s w ll ensure
eff c ent operat on and m n m ze the need for future ma ntenance.
1. Measure the d stance between the ndoor and outdoor un ts.
2. Us ng a p pe cutter, cut the p pe a l ttle longer than the measured d stance.
3. Make sure that the p pe s cut at a perfect 90° angle. Refer to F g. 7.1 for bad cut examples.
